![]() ![]() This was OK, as I also had the Amazon Appstore, on my Samsung Galaxy 7Sedge. ?!!!? So no more Kindle Fire for the foreseeable future. Amazon Customer support said to watch for an email in a couple days. When it was taking power, everything else worked fine with the tablet. ![]() It's had a charging issue at the microUSB connector, and what was a bit of wire gymnastics to get the charge to connect, has turned into a no go. My latest is a 10"Fire (2017 version) I got it at the end of 2018, so I added a three year square trade warranty to cover any circumstance of failure to function. I have enjoyed the expansion of services, and have had several generations of Kindles. I've been part of the Amazon ecosystem from the earliest days of Prime, back when it was just shipping. This is a saga full of fails at just about every level of the customer experience. Now that I have invested the better part of a day investigating this issue, I offer this report on what I have learned thus far in the hopes that it will move the ball down the field in the search for a solution. Talk about useless error messages followed up by useless tech support.
